Goodbye Sweet Girl - Gourmet_Mom - 10-03-2016

We have been treating her for a heart condition for a couple of months. She died in our arms early this morning. I love you, Cricket. You were the best Lab ever.

Thanks, Blane and Jean. Jean, I don't know where your post went, but I did see it earlier today.
It's been a rough day. I have learned that suppressing ones emotions so as not to upset others makes your head hurt. And the silliest little things can set you off, like the chicken left on my lunch plate and the lady at the drive thru that always gives Cricket dog biscuits. Bad day.
Where are the emoticons any way?!?!

Yes, it was so hard! This is the longest we've had a Lab, and she was such a good dog! We have already started looking for another one. We thought we may have found one this afternoons, but they only had males left. But I think they felt so sorry for me, they promised to look around.
