It's been around,100 here all day, with a Real Feel of over 110! So we picked up cold Boars Head sammies for lunch and an in store made pizza for dinner. Neither one of us felt like hot pizza, since temps are still in the nineties, and the AC just can't keep up! So tomato sliders with our first Cherokee Purples on rolls left over from our box of chicken Sunday. No clue where the rest of my bread went.

We had to go to the bank today and Lowes to pick up a few things (including the C@H Summer Cookbook) - so we had a late lunch at our favorite taqueria - Carnitas Tacos with rice & beans. Yum. We are so stuffed, still, so a cocktails and early to bed - 4:30/5:00 am comes way to early for both of us.

Reporting back on the chicken/mushroom dish. It was very good but I'm sorry I cut back on the garlic. I would use the full amount next time. I also added a small handful of frozen peas to the final dish. Will definitely make it again.
