Starting pasta in cold water - karyn - 06-17-2015

I've never done it before, but this blogger makes a pretty solid argument, so I'm giving it a try. Has anyone else ever tried this?

Well, I used this method to cook the pasta for my sesame noodles and it worked great! I think the pasta was cooked perfectly almost immediately after the water boiled. I'll be using this method more in the future.

No, never tried it, but probably will now.

I have done it - and it worked. I haven't tried it with Barilla's gluten free pasta yet, may have to try that.
