Dinner Party Leftovers!! - cjs - 03-10-2014 (as it will be on f.b.) Thank you for the Champagne, George!! And, to celebrate your’s and my Tracie’s birthdays, we reworked Saturday night’s appetizer – Baked Prosciutto and Brie with Apple Butter Crostini - a pizza!!! (you knew I was going there, didn’t you??) Used a flour tortilla for the crust – I’ll do this again and use regular pizza dough, a slightly thinner crust than I normally use. I think this will be great and the ‘bread’ will cut down on the richness a little. This is such a great leftover idea; we enjoyed it thoroughly. P.S. Where did you find this sparkling, George????? It’s buttery and very good! The champagne Appie Pizza – Pizza gone This was wonderful!! Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - labradors - 03-10-2014 Jean, Have you ever had this one? I love it. Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - cjs - 03-10-2014 No, but it is now noted!! thanks. Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - Gourmet_Mom - 03-10-2014 It looks great, Jean! Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - madmax - 03-10-2014 Any Excuse To Party I Tell Ya Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - cjs - 03-11-2014 Yup! Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - cjs - 03-14-2014 One more leftover idea from the diner party. I made a small pineapple crisp with the l/o pineapple from the soup. For a sauce the recipe suggests melting ice cream and mixing it with a little rum - I have a couple of scoops of coconut sorbet which has rum already added. It was very good as a sauce!! Re: Dinner Party Leftovers!! - Gourmet_Mom - 03-14-2014 I bet that was good! |
