Top Chef - no spoiler - DFen911 - 01-24-2013

Just a phrase/technique

Lemon Charcoal

If you watched tonight's episode you'll know to what I refer and to what I am SO going to try (just not with sushi lol)

Re: Top Chef - no spoiler - Lorraine - 01-24-2013

Missed the show, but I've been getting bags of beautiful Meyer Lemons for $1.50. Now I know what to do with them. reminds me of Paul's Citrus Dust.

Yes, Lorraine, it does!!

Re: Top Chef - no spoiler - labradors - 01-25-2013

I'm really watching Sheldon, since he's making a lot of things related to his Filipino heritage. When I was just casually watching one of the earlier episodes, I started paying closer attention when I heard him say Sinigang. I'll have to see if his recipe is on the Top Chef web page and then compare it to others I've seen. I still haven't MADE Sinigang, but really want to, so I'll have to put it onto the list for when we're done with our mystery box.

Re: Top Chef - no spoiler - cjs - 01-25-2013

I've been liking him also.

Re: Top Chef - no spoiler - labradors - 01-25-2013

Yeah. He surprised even himself in Restaurant Wars.
