Sushi - esgunn - 12-30-2012

I got some sushi making supplies for Christmas. Today I tried my hand at it. It didn't turn out half bad I think! Haven't tried raw fish yet...but we had fun.

I saw your FB post, Erin. Very nice job! Did the kids help? I remember my first attempt. I was so intimidated, yet so please with how easy and fun it was!

Is that a salmon rose with wasabi? A very impressive presentation Erin.

If I had to guess, it's pickled ginger. BTW, nice set, Erin!

Thanks Daphne.

I love making sushi - I just wish Roy enjoyed it more. He's coming along, slowly but coming along.

Looks wonderful and your first time making it, Erin?? Wow.

That sushi is beautiful and the presentation is stunning.

I love making sushi - but I cannot stand the taste of the nori. Love the raw tuna and salmon though. I saw a cooking show the other day that used "tapioca" paper (spring roll wrapper) instead. I think I'll try that.
