My Terrific Auction Find! - luvnit - 11-06-2012 Don't know if any of you have ever used one of these. I just won mine at a restaurant auction. I took it home today and made a mountain of salsa! I love this thing! ![]() ![]() I looks just brand new. I doubt if it had ever been used. It's actually pretty large, but the legs do fold in for easier storage. Now I am ready for the garden and salsa making next year! Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - Gourmet_Mom - 11-06-2012 That looks pretty cool! Good job! Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - BarbaraS - 11-06-2012 Darn it! I bet your Secret Santa was going to get you the very same thing! Okay, how does that work? Barbara Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - luvnit - 11-06-2012 Works great on soft veggies(tomatoes, onions, peppers, cukes, etc.) and fruits. Can also dice ham and other deli meats. Just drop it in the chute, and crank the handle. I am going to have to find the manual somewhere online. You can also do french fries. I will have to try that. Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - Harborwitch - 11-06-2012 Bob is sure lucky that I don't have room for any more toys. ![]() Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - Gourmet_Mom - 11-06-2012 Laura, did you get all the blades or just the one that came with the machine? Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - cjs - 11-06-2012 Well, I'll be darned...... ![]() Re: My Terrific Auction Find! - luvnit - 11-06-2012 Quote: Just the one that came with the Machine. It was the 1/4 inch dice. Perfect for the salsa I made. |
