What a fun show!! The patties made from the lutefisk sound tasty!!

On the same show one of the chef's rubbed the skin of Salmon with tumeric and seared it - the judges loved the combination and when I looked it up in the Flavor Bible, sure 'nuf, tumeric is listed to go with Salmon. I would never have thought of it. Hope I have some salmon in the freezer.

Cool!

As many times as I've tried it, I've never liked salmon, but it WAS an interesting episode.

I think we missed that one so will have to watch for a re-run.

Labs, if you like teriyaki sauce, try making one and marinating a piece of salmon in it for a few hours, then grill, bake, or steam. That's Ron's favorite way to eat it. He doesn't really care for it much any other way, except for salmon patties.

Maryann,

The ONE time that I WAS able to keep eating a serving of salmon was when some friends, here, had gotten some and had asked me to grill it on their grill for them, and that was without teriyaki sauce, so you are probably right on the mark.
