Cherry Cola (for Ribs) Sauced Chix Pizza - cjs - 10-16-2010

Had a dab (~2/3 cup) of the cherry cola sauce l/o from the last batch of ribs, so mascerated some cooked chicken pieces and froze them. Made pizza today for 'dinner' (finally back to the regime ) and it was really good. But, I think I'll do it with some l/o pork next time and see which we like better.

Sour dough pizza round
pesto sauce
the chicken
smoked provolone
aged cheddar
parmesan
toasted pine nuts
red pepper flakes.

Really tasty.

Sounds good, Jean. I like the idea of the pesto on the bottom.
