Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - cjs - 10-12-2010 What's on everyone's menu for tonight?? We need to go down the hill for dinner - we have a gift for our bartender friend who gave us two nights at her condo in Victoria last week. Man, was that nice. I'd really rather stay home, I've go so many good sounding dishes to cook... Oh, I did make something yesterday that was delicious - Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana (added espresso) frozen yogurt!! What a great 'ice cream cone' dessert last night. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - Harborwitch - 10-12-2010 We got a great big ol pork roast to toss in the crock pot, some cheese stuffed hatch chilis, Spanish rice, and I have two little squashes to stuff. I'd rather have that frozen yogurt (recipe????)! Lordy that sounds good. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - Mare749 - 10-12-2010 I'm doing the review dinner that Daphne chose for October, Prosciutto-Wrapped Tilapia with fresh sage, Broccolini Risotto, and another side of the brussel sprouts that came home with me yesterday. Really looking forward to this one; even splurged and got real Parma prosciutto. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - Trixxee - 10-12-2010 Very simple tonight - rotissiere chicken, cilantro-lime sweet potatoes, asparaus. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - DFen911 - 10-12-2010 Chicken Picca from the trial issue Cooking out of that issue for the entire week. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - karyn - 10-12-2010 We're having the review dinner too, but the store was out of tilapia (I didn't know that ever happened!), so I'm subbing halibut. The recipe looks tasty, and I've got the sauce ready to go. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - Harborwitch - 10-12-2010 That is one of my favorite issues. I think, I hope, I brought it with us. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - HomeCulinarian - 10-12-2010 I'm attending another cooking class with a girlfriend tonight. Not sure I need this level of instruction, but I'm sure I'll learn somethings - and this instructor makes his classes fun. If I'm still hungry after class, I'll eat leftovers when I get home. How exciting. Re: Tuesday's Dinner - 10/12? - cjs - 10-12-2010 Jeannette, I think I have learned a trick or two from every class and/or demonstration I've ever attended. Hope you do too. I'll post the recipe for the frozen yogurt, Sharon - it's really tasty. |
