I'm hoping that all of our "family" back east are going to be high & dry and safe from this hurricane. Daphne????

Here is the message from my daughter that is at college near Daphne:
"to all friends and family: our school advised us to warn you that we may lose power in a hurricane. the news reports will show you the worst, which we will not see. so please don't fret if i'm out of contact"
I spoke with her today and she says they aren't expecting the worst until tomorrow.

Hi, all. Monica had the right of it. If that front moves in like it's supposed to, we should be fine. The worst will be 40 mile an hour winds...not good, but better than the alternative. I HATE night time hurricanes...I'm scared to go to sleep...OIY!
I'll keep you all informed, and like Monica said, remember that the media will paint this thing worse than it is on the ground. Can we say HYPE?
