I had a great crop of these squash this year. And grew them totally organic!
In my quest for different I decided to make Acorn Squash Perogies! darn nice little side dish.

I've never grown them, just don't have the space. I have a sister who grows them, they last in her basement most of the winter. care to share the recipe? I've been buying one I never heard of until this year, a Sweet Dumpling squash. Really nice.

Is that like a patty pan shape or one of the oblong types?
