Meeting my sister for shopping and lunch, so dinner will be light. Something with chicken breast, but I haven't decided on the recipe yet. Since I am making a chopped veggie salad, we might just grill the chicken to go with it. (If Ron feels like doing that after work) He made a comment yesterday that he misses the cruise ***** buffet.

Pot roast the way my mom made it many times in the 80's and 90's - any guesses?

Yes! With a packet of onion soup mix as well. Tony loves the gravy too (well, so do I).

Coming up with dinner ideas for a one armed husband is becoming a challenge. I'm thinking about loaded baked potatoes. That was the one idea he seemed to like.
ETA: I decided to add Broccoli Cheese Soup to round out the meal.

We were going to do a smoked chicken salad but both of us needed comfort food, so I went for one of our favorite skillet pasta dinners...
Skillet Chicken, Broccoli, Pasta, and Asiago . It's really delicious and the leftovers are pretty good, too!

Oh my, Karyn! Another yummy sounding recipe! On the menu for next week!
Dinner was a home run! I topped it off with the perfect dessert for this time of year! It's strawberry time in my area! I just cut off the tops and cut up into bite size pieces. Naturally sweet, so no sugar necessary! YUM!!!

I ended up making Almond Buttered Chicken, mashed cauliflower, and peas. Delicious!
It's not strawberry season just yet here, but the ones that I picked up at the store were still pretty great, so same dessert as Daphne.
