Re: (...)
Okay two beers later...
I tried an OK guiness stout. Yikes! that stuff is like coffee! Then I tried a Moose Drool micro from Montanta. Much better.
We will be serving Moose Drool and Grain Belt Nordeast tomorrow at the party. Just wanted to do a bit of taste testing...

Yep, Guiness is a bit... thick.
But it's a
stout! I'm going to be on the lookout for Moose Drool next time I go to the beer super-center.
You
need that taste-testing, now, don't you.?!?

Yes, taste-testing is very important!
Stout was good. Hubby and I shared it. There was a ping pong ball in it. (Anyone know why that is???)
But the Moose Drool... Great Montana micro...

Love Moose Drool. There's another one from Big Sky - can't remember the name though. Drool will be perfect with your menu.
Guiness is beyond amazing - I'd serve it with desert of a chocolate or gingerbread nature.

When I asked about the plastic thingy in the Guiness, I was told that it was meant to help create a "head" on the beer when poured in a glass...I think?
