Our Superbowl food plans went out the window - started talking to the neighbors, then a friend called and an hour later, it was just too late to start most of what I had planned!1 So, had a throw together pasta!
Best Superbowl game I've seen in years!!!!!! and, time to put this one to bed.

We got slammed at Brunch yesterday, and barely made it home for the start of the game. Brunch was "Chinese New Year", so I brought home leftovers. Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Fried Rice,5 Spice chicken wings, Pot Stickers and Eggrolls.
Laura, what a great recipe!

Lorraine, that sounds fun, but I'm sure you were pretty tired after that event.
Daphne, thanks for the recipe. Might just have to try that one.

As I sat pondering what we would eat (after work) and sipping a delicious Bob's Bloody Mary the idea hit me.
Bloody Mary Brats
2 stalks celery - diced
1/2 onion - diced
1/2 tsp (or more to taste) horseradish
fresh ground pepper
1 16 oz can of beer.
1/2 12 oz can V8
Tabasco & worchesershire to taste
Bring everything to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Add brats and continue simmering until the brat are full cooked. Since our grill is toast we didn't finish them on the grill, but I think that would be better.
They were spicy and really good. We served them with brown mustard and slaw.!

That idea is copied, Sharon. We have some Bloody Mary mix in the fridge that we doctor, so can play with this. We sure have a lot of sausages from the butcher shops we've been visiting.

I still have some Bloody Mary Mix that Bill suggested, so I may have to try this also! Thanks for the idea, Sharon!

That's quite a Bloody Mary Laura!
We split the last brat today - WOW! I put it in the fridge in some of the cooking liquid overnight. Please let me know how you like it . . . I think it might go in "Dinner on My Plate". Of course more ideas on this are going through my brain
