My arteries are clogging from here, but what a wonderful site this is. But to be fair, the alcohol in the drinks helped...right? That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!
You are not helping my current seafood obsession! Fried clams are the only fried seafood I still crave...everything else, I can be satisfied fixing in other ways. You know, I still haven't tried your batter recipe AND William still hasn't put out my trot line....>>>>>picking up phone<<<<<<<

You need to help me out, I've never had fried clams. The whole plate looks fabulous!!
Practice safe lunch. Use a condiment.

Denise, I used to say that too till Bill pointed out that it might be even better to be Roy in the next life. Of course I would settle for being Lola at this point, her mom is a good cook too and she has adorable outfits!

Oh, Lorraine! With no other way to describe them, I'd compare clams to oysters, but much sweeter and a little chewier. I guess their closest cousin would be a mussel, but I've only had mussels once. Clams are locally harvested here, while mussels are not, so I may be way off there.
Are you sure you've never had clams...New England Clam chowder? Clams Casino? Steamers? Oh my!

Very good point! I never thought of that.
