Re: (...)
Issue #92- April 2012
Despite not cooking these correctly (I didn't have the oil to 375' and I overcrowded the deep fryer, they got really greasy) these were quite tasty. I'll make them again and bake half and properly deep fry the other half to compare. The dipping sauce is delicious. I know this isn't much of a review, but I hope someone else tries this and provides some feedback.

After questioning the Cheeseburger Quiche that Trixxee posted, I think I'm ready to accept this one now.

Blane, how do you think these would be with smoked pork? Too many favors?

I think it would work, it would be like a smoked pork cheese burger. However, the dill in this dish was very prominent, not overpowering, but noticeable. I've never had a smoked pork/dill pickle combo before. Could be great, could be a disaster. I say go for it, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Yhanks! I was wondering about the dill, thought I might try banana peppers, and maybe provolone. Of course then it is not Cheese burger anymore. But might be good with all our lbs of smoked pork we have!!!!

I have got to check out this issue more, there are some good sounding dishes in it.
Erin, might not be considered a 'cheeseburger,' but I bet your combination would be a darn good tasting egg roll.
