Brining.....to rinse or not to rinse

  Re: (...)
Jean's recipe for brining says to rinse well before proceeding with rest of recipe. C@H's says nothing about rinsing off the brine before proceeding.

What does everyone think about this?

I would rinse it--the brine worked internally--might prove to salty if not rinsed.

I would definitely rinse very well. I forgot to rinse pork hocks once that I had brined. Gack.

Yup, brined pork chops a few days ago, don't know why C@H doesn't say to rinse, CI does.

YUP!!! You must rinse otherwise the saltiness will be too overpowering!!! (and any other ingredients you may use0.

Brining is the ultimate tenderizer and taste enhancer---but rinse---IMHO!!!
